We have a Callpilot application that has a dial by name option. The application can be reached by calling the internal extension - call it 1234, the local DID - call it 123-456-1234, and a toll free forward - call it 866-456-1234.
There is a "Fitzpatrick" and a "Fitzgerald". When dialing the 4 digit extension internally, using dial by name, and entering "f" "i", the system will say "two matches found" and allow you to select one of them or continue entering the name.
Now if you call via the full DID number or toll free number, and enter "f" "i", the system will automatically forward you to "Fitzpatrick", so "Fitzgerald" can never be reached.
Any ideas? Is there some type of setting that would hide/unhide a name from internal/external?
TIA
