Dial Another Extension During Greeting on Nupoint

Nupoint 12 using Mitel Application Suite
Call Director Enabled on the Line Group Interface
Receptionist Enabled as the Line Group Application

For the life of me I would have sworn you could dial another extension during the greeting of a users mailbox and the system would transfer you to that extension.

Any digits dialed during greeting take me straight to the beep (Except * which prompts for a passcode)

I've tried turning on the Allow Dial an Extension options for the Line Group for both users and Callers and this makes no difference.

I'm sure I've had this work on older Nupoints without Call Director but then again it has been a VERY LONG TIME.

Any hints?

At one time I knew this platform very well, haven't seen it in a while though.

Its been a while for me to but I kind of think you can't. You can from a call director box. You can interrupt the greeting to either log in or start leaving a message but I think by the time you hear the voicemail greeting you are down at the voicemail level and the best you could do is go to another mailbox. I will have to look at the FCOS list to see if anything twigs my memory.
 
Yeah we figured out the method via Call Director but that complicates things too much for the user.

It would seem that the Express Messenger can do something that Nupoint can't. I would not have expected that.
