Partner ACS: Customer is using SLS for their agents. They need inside dial tone to access their VM. They are calling 911 by mistake when dialing out long distance i.e. 9,11x-xxx-xxxx when they make a dialing error.

Police are being dispatched to the premise. Big problme

Any way Partner will allow another number other than 9 to be used for outside calls?

Can't change the 9, and it wouldn't be a good idea to restrict 911, but you could restrict "911-wild". When they dial any digit AFTER 911, they get disconnected, hopefully before the call goes through.

Yes, like you, I do not like to restrict 911 in any way for the protection of the customer so I won't even tell them I can even do a wild card restriction.

If there is a real emergency and shaky fingers are dialing I would hate for them to have any delay in getting emergency help.

I was thinking of using a calling group 880, 881, etc. but then that adds a lot of extra dialing. This is a an outbound call center so they are out dialing all day. Every extra digit is an issue and they already dial a 3 digit LD account code at the ent of the LD number.

Thanks for the info.
