We have a BCM 400 customer that was using the dial 7 out of certain mailboxes. Without any known programming change this has stopped working. We either get a message saying there is no access to the required resources, or the system dials in the ear of the party waiting to be transfered.

We have this working on other sites, but it will not work on this site.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What do you have programmed as the outdial type for the mailbox? Is it possible that an analog line went down - the last line in the pool if you have a pool selected for outdial type? Is it possible that the customer changed services on their lines? Now require a 9 or an access code?

I would probably first check the digits that are being dialed from the mailbox. That is changed within the mailbox admin - a user definitely could have accidently changed the specs.

Check the Class of service. Also was it disabled in the programing of the mailbox.Outdial type.

Use the BCM Monitor to see what line and digits are beening sent if any.
