HI GUYS,
CAN I SET UP THE OPTION 11 TO BE ABLE TO DIAL A 800 NUMBER ON AN OUTSIDE LINE WHEN 0 IS DIALED. THEY HAVE A SPECIAL HOTEL HOSPITALITY OPERATOR TO HANDLE COLLECT AND CALLING CARD CALLS.

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT

you'll need to set up a pre-translation table for that, and apply it to the phone. if the phone is a single purpose station, a ring down is a lot quicker to config

You probably want callers to reach the hotel switchboard when they dial 0 internally right? If so, then you don't want to change the pre-translation. If this is a hotel then it likely has a pre-translation arrangement already.

You want callers to go to the special service when they dial the access code for an outside line followed by 0.
For this you most likely need to get into the BARS. It is easily done for someone that knows what they are doing. Otherwise you could cause some other dialing problems. If you are a vendor then you should have a networking expert that can do this. If you aren't a vendor then find one that does.
If you still want to get into it then here's a good starting point:

There are various ways to set this up.
Chances are, 0 is an SPN in LD 90 that points to an RLI in LD 86. The RLI has one or more route entries that refer to DMI's (Digit Manipulation Index). You can create a DMI that deletes the 0 that was dialed and inserts the 800 number.
