I have 2 merlin magix system, main site i has merlin messaging, remote site is connected via p2p t1 using udp. Both sites can talk to each other fine. Also calls come into main site and then are distrubuted to remote site, everything works fine when you call in to remote site hit ext then go to their vm but when you 0 out of their mailbox with personal operator assigned to go to ex800. instead of reaching 800 it just rings into space. main site can call 800 and talk to operator at remote site fine, remote site can call 800 and hit oiperator just fine. Please help me out. tried turning off restricitions on vm ports and allowed for trunk to trk transfer on vm ports. nothing works. Also at main site is you reach their vm and 0 out you go to their personal operator just fine.

An interesting problem. I don't understand why you're changing the personal operator option on the individual mailboxes when you can set the call answer service operator to be ext 800. I would give that a try.

well i am adjusting the 0 timeout at the remote site to go to their operator 800, main site 0 goes to their service opertator ext 100. that is why.

Do you have a mailbox assigned to 800, and are the VM ports unrestricted, FRL=3, trunk-to-trunk enabled, and LS reliable disconnect set to on?

Can you transfer to the other location from a voice mailbox?

I can transfer out of any mailbox on the main site to any ext on the main site, by pressing *8 then ext. but when in the remote site's mailbox when you press * 8 and any ext on remote site side then just ringing into space occurs. it seems that once you reach the remote site and then go back over the t to reach the main site's central vm. Vm is not sending it back across the t. like I said all works fine except transfering out of the remote site's mailbox to a remote site ext. don't know

yes frl is set to 3 and vmports are unrestricted, and all workes fine foreverything, except that so i worked around it and created a phantom on main site and set phantom to go to ext 800 that works and i am done with it. don't understand why it doesn't work.

Are the switch numbers set on the point to point trunks?
