Hi Guys
I am trying to do thick diagonal lines that are the latest crazy on websites. I looked for the tutorials but can find only 1 pixel sized diagonal lines.

But I require diagonal lines of 3 or 4 pixels. Can someone tell me how I go about doing this?

Thanks

You can also use the line tool. If it's not visible, press U and select line from the options palette just under the menu. It will allow you to specify the thickness. The only disadvantage is that it will create a new shape layer for each line, so it might become unwieldy. Time for layer sets...

Create a pattern.
Start with a 6px by 6px square. Set your Grid/guide prefs to 1 px increments.
Magnify the image so you can see what you are drawing clearly. With a 1px pencil stoke, fill the diagonal from one corner to the other, and then fill 1xp on either side. Save as Pattern.

On a new layer, fill with the pattern you created.
