diagonal lines below text

Red diagonal lines are appearing below text when space bar is pressed.
Happens on new and old documents


What are they and how do I remove them?

This sounds like it might be a video problem. Does anything similar happen in other applications. I would check the pins on the monitor cable to make sure none are bent.

Thanks, we ended up reinstalling the program and that fixed the problem. It was only happening in Word Perfect.
