When I print a document, some rectangles or text frames appear with a diagonal line from corner to corner with the same properties of the frame.
I have tried to change the content property of the frame to Text, Image or Unassigned, but nothing changes. The frames are empty.
Both in Indesign and in the PDFs this transverse line doesn't appear.

Maybe it is a very simple issue but i am not an expert. Thank you.

Are you printing to a non-PostScript printer? It sounds like something funky is happening when it renders to print. Does the content of the frames (photo for instance) show up when you print, or JUST the diagonal lines?

In the General section of the print dialogue, make sure that "print non printing objects" is not checked.

I've never heard of this before. One tiny thing I could think of would be that the particular font you used has some sort of protection or something. As a test, you might try another font.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

Ekwoman:
Just the diagonal lines, because the frames are empty, in the master page.
