Hi there, new with linux and itanium server. Just need to know what is the counterpart of diag (aix) on Linux? Or does it come out with a diagnostics cd also to check the hardware resources.. Currently we are using xseries 455 itanium server Redhat AS2.1

Hi,
You must be talking about IBM servers. You might want to look into the 'IBM director' software package or talk to your IBM support rep for their recommendations.

By the way, the Xseries 455 will be phasing out with the new P5 servers in 12/2004

I am glad I went with HP Itanium running RH AS 3.0
