What’s the best way to summarise Diagnostics Logging over Internet Mail Service connector?

For example: Mail Sender, Recipient, Number of Messages and Size of messsage (all in a readable format)

Help appreciated

You can use the Diagnostics Logging tab on the IMS but I don't know which of the listed categories are best for your required information and at which level e.g. Cat: Addressing Level: Medium etc.

Hope this helps and I’m sure someone out there will be able to answer this question better then me.

I did previously try this but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for as the information retrieved is all over the place. My boss (fussy git) was looking for something better formatted (his words something nice, neat and readable). Thanks for trying novicemarc.

Anyone else got any ideas

Exchange 2k allows logging on the SMTP Virtual server and with W3SVC you can pick the fields to log. In 5.5 look at the CD it has a demo of a 3rd party tool that can do some cool stuff like this. Dan

Can you tell me the name of the demo software or the name of some other good software that will do the job?

Cheers
