Diablo II will not work on home network.

I have been playing Diablo II over my home network for years. I have two WinXp computers on a linksys hub 5 port hub. (slot no.1 not used because DSL is hooked up) I can transfer files between computers. I can connect to the internet from both machines. I manually added Diablo II to the windows firewall. None of this has worked. Ever time I try to start a network game the host comes up fine but the other computer can't connect. I have been doing this for years and have never had this much trouble. I am sure it's something simple that I am missing.
