I would like to use VPN to connect 2 remote sites with my home site database. All three sites use a D-Link DI-707 router/switch connecting a DSL modem to their internal LANS. The two remote sites only need to connect to an NT4 server at the home site. All three sites have accounts with the same ISP. Can a VPN connection be implemented using just the DI-707s or would you recommend using a VPN server?

Thanks

The 707's have VPN pass thru but are not VPN routers theirselves. You would need a VPN server behind the routers to get the offices connected. I would suggest taking them back and getting the Dlink 804V which is exactly what you want. With those you can connect up to 8 VPN offices.
