DHTML Scripts not Working

Can someone please tell me if it is possible to run script inside another......I have a slide menu that appears when a link is moused over......I need to place a scrolling DHTML Box into each slide menu. The scrolling box scrolls up or down when the mouse is placed over the Up...or Down arrows. Can it be done???

What you can do is write to seperate scripts and call one from the other, but that would require the function to return a value, and I dont know wether or not that is possible in JavaScript ...

I have a DIV Class Container for the DHTML Slide Menu. I am trying to place another DIV DHTML Scrolling text box inside the Slide Menu DIV tags......The scroller works when it is outside of the slide menu container but as soon as i drop the code fot the scroller into the slide container code it wont work
