I have this nifty script I'd like to use. Its a slideshow with changing text. In IE it uses DHTML, which looks great, and in NS it uses a textarea box.

However, I want to have a line break in my text. If I use \n it works in NS and doesn't do anything in IE. If I use < br > it works in IE and looks naff in NS.

Is there a way?

have you tried or

or with unicode, I'm not sure about the syntax, but it is someting like:

for a line feed:

u\0000A or
u/0000A or
u\000A or
u/000A or

for a carriage return, change A to D

Hope this helps,
Erik

Thanks for the reply!

The unicode works for NS, but not IE, but I think that there is a bug with IE 5.5 and unicode?
