DHTML in Frontpage

I'm creating a personal website using 97 frontpage. I add DHTML or DynamicAnimation effects with these functions:

function dynAnimation() {}
function clickSwapImg() {}

but when I upload the page to the server with 2000 frontpage version. The animation doesn't work and these two functions were replace with 10 diffent functions.

Is Frontpage 2000 not supporting DHTML and DynamicAnimation ?
