Hi, i've got a screen using asp that lists all files in a directory. Anyway at the moment it also lists the file size, created date etc. Thing is all those details clog up the screen, what i'm after is just having the filename appear, then a small icon that the user can click on. When they do an area below the filename appears containing all the details i want (created date, size etc).

Can someone help me out with this?

Cheers in advance...

sounds a lot like you want someone to do all the work for you. How about you go about it alone and when you stale at a technical problem we provide you help IF you cannot figure it out alone? Gary Haran

Wow I was thinking the exact same thing!
Nicely said xutopia!

A Xutopia i was expecting some thing like so

IF you cannot figure it out alone {(
print 'help me'
}

ELSE you got it {
print 'you got it"
}

Ahh its been a long week

what the heck, I'm in a good mood.

<style type=&quot;text/css&quot;>
.hide{display:none;}
.show{display:inline;}
</style>

<script type=&quot;text/javascript&quot;>
function showHide(id){
if (id.className == &quot;show&quot;){
id.className = &quot;hide&quot;
}else if (id.className == &quot;hide&quot;){
id.className = &quot;show&quot;
}
}
</script>

now the make the text you want hidden like this

<span class=&quot;hide&quot; id=&quot;hidden_stuff&quot;>
stuff here
</span>

make the link to show the stuff like this

<a href=&quot;javascript:showHide(hidden_stuff);&quot;>text</a>

your welcome.
