DHTML DROP DOWN MENUS

Does anyone know of any good examples of DHTML drop down menus, it needs to be fully customizable, and floating - as i have an image/diagram on the site i am creating which when a certain area of the image is clicking on a drop down menu of options appears. So any examples of such code would be much appreciated
