DHCP Split-Scope

Hey folks,

Quick question regarding DHCP Split Scopes.
We want to add a 2nd DHCP server to do a split scope. Do I have to configure the 2nd DHCP server to have the identical scope before I choose to split the scope? OR
Can I just install DHCP on the 2nd server, goto the scope on the primary and split the scope? (Meaning, will doing so configure the rest on the secondary server)

Actually, I answered my own question. However, how do I modify the ratio once I"ve set it. Is there a way to change the ratio w/o deleting the scope?
