Hi Chaps,

I don't see a DHCP server in vMCD 5.0. Any ideas?

Has Mitel removed this for some reason?

I hate the idea if they have?

Many Thanks

I've upgraded my lab to MCD 5 and i still have a DHCP server so it's not that it doesn;t exist?

Maybe a reboot?

sorry, yes no DHCP on VMcd, never has been. Always been documented. Any MCD on ISS on VM don;t have DHCP

You can use the DHCP server on the MSL instead

never has been a DHCP for the virtual products, for ISS installs or for the MXe Server. Always have used the 3300 trunking gateway as the DHCP server but if you don't have a trunking gateway you will need a seperate DHCP server. MCD 5 in virtual format sees the return of the embedded voicemail, which has been in the past releases of the virtual products.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
