I noticed that my DHCP server goes on and off throughout the day. I have setup my account to receive a notice when the Service goes down. Any ideas as to why that is?

I'm running: MS SBS 2003 Standard

There is a setting under my computer where it has the option to automatically re-boot. Might be the culpret. I've seen it before.

SBS can be the culprit in itself as well

technically, a DC is not supposed to run DNS...no idea why they even built SBS with that being said.

there are quite a few things that should not be done that you have no choice but to do on SBS

glen's is likely more laong the mark though
