Good Morning,

Can I use an NT DHCP server to restrict IP availability, or must I do this with subnet masking?
(For example I one want 10.10.10.104 through 10.10.10.200 available for DCHP. If someone tries to setup a static address at 10.10.10.99, I don't want them allowed to be plugged into our IP scheme).

Now that DHCP is setup on an NT machine, I would like to use the DHCP database for other purposes. How can I get the information in the DHCP database (IP, Computer Name, etc), and port it to something like excel or access?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

If someone configures a device with a static IP that conflicts with your DHCP scope there is nothing you can do from the server.

You certainly will know when it happens though if the IP gets assigned.
