DHCP RELAY QUESTION

I am looking at setting up a PIX so that clients using the internet can connect to the outside interface on the PIX using a PPTP VPN (terminated on the PIX itself), and can have their VPN connection IP addresses assigned by a DHCP server on the inside interface. Has anybody got experience of doing this with DHCP Relay ? Will it work with PPTP or do I need L2TP VPN connections (the documentation is not clear on this). If anybody has any pointers for me on setting this up they would be gratefully received.
