dhcp problems

I have a dhcp server that has a subnet of 10.3.1.1 and a mask of 255.255.0.0. The first 50 addresses are not avaliable. Two workstations are recieving addresses of
10.3.1.255 and 10.3.2.0. They cannot connect to the boardermanager server. If I give them static addresses of say 10.3.2.100. They can connect. I have deleded there ip assignments also changed the renewal time to one day. The server is still giving out these addresses. Does anyone know of a way to stop the server from giving out 255 and 0

The only real way without a lot of messing is to manually allocate the IP addresses as static IP address but to fake MAC addresses. You can do this in the DHCP console. This will ensure that the IP addresses are not allocated as part of the DHCP pool. -----------------------------------------------------

Thanks a lot TheLad. i created the fake mac addresses on a Friday and both workstations were ok on Monday. Appreciate your help.
