I have w2k server and install dhcp services. My dhcp was working fine, but all of a sudden the dhcp server stop leasing ip's to clients. Event viewer stats "The DHCP/BINL service has determined that it not authorized to service clients on this network for the windows domain ccg-corp.net. What gives? Can anyone help? thanks

After you go the DHCP server running did you authorize the server to respond. I had a similar problem where i made change to the DHCP and it became unauthorized in my domain give a similar message. Try re-authorizing your DHCP for your Domain

Another possible problem would be any NIC changes. If you have removed or reinstalled and before the problem happened, your box may have bound generic ip's to them temporarily in DNS. The problem is that sometimes, the DNS records never get wiped out when your rebind an ip address. What you need to do to fix this is go to DNS and delete the records that point to generic ip addresses.

BertV was right. Using the DHCP Manager MMC to authorize the server in the AD should fix your problem for sure.
