Hi ,

How to Setup DHCP option on the customer network (S1 and S2), if the solution has IPO Server Editon Primary and IPO Secondary, and configure Resiliency option?

Thanks

@derfloh: Thank you, but I am asked how to add IP Call Server Primary and Secondary to Customer DHCP Server.
or keep DHCP server from the secondary server is enabled, so if the Primary server is failover, the secondary handle the IP Phones through its own DHCP.
I need to know the process, and how its works?

Thanks

Let the customer do the DHCP…simplest way.

Set primary with Static IP address
Set Secondary with Static IP address

Set resilience on primary server as per guide.

Read the ipo server deployment guide.
Explains how it works

You don't need to do anything. The phones continue to use their existing addresses, you focus of fixing whatever caused resilience to occur.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

@snowman50: I read deployment well and know how it works.
My question is if the Primary server has its own Static IP address (Call Server), the Secondary has its own IP address, and the call server on the IP Phones has the Primary Server IP address (Call Server), when the resilience occurs, how the IP phones will work ?
this mechanism is not discussed well on documentation

Thanks

When the phone registers with a system, that system tells the phone the address of the server to which it should failover when necessary.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
