Hi

How can i configure DHCP OP 43 on MIVB MSL for the 6800 series handsets please ?

Thanks

AFter a quick test, I think you will have to define multiple option 43 with a unique name and 43 vendor calss idetifier. Looks to me that the dhcpd.conf gets setup correctly with multiple entries with match values

thanks
can you explain the process please ?

Not sure what you are trying to do and I have no experience with 6800 series phones. Also not sure if just having option 66 set is enough.
I also looked at how any text was added in option 43 and it is defined by if option vendor-class-identifier is equal to the value set the it has a line option vendor-encapsulated-options which is what is in the text box

The 6800 series don't run MiNET mode so I don't think you can use Option 43 as that only works for MiNET phones. You may have to use Option 66 instead if they're SIP phones.

I did look at the documentation for the 6800 series phones and yes, they can use 43 but in a different fashion than Minet. It may or may not be possible to set this up on MSL dhcp. If I had a phone, I could verify what it does in a lab scenario
