DHCP on a 1600 router 1

Is it possible to configure one of the NIC's on a 1600 as a DHCP client? I am tryingg to connect it to my cable provider in order to share the internet connection?

Yes. This is a feature of newer IOS's, I believe it started at 12.1

Try the command [no] ip address dhcp on the Ethernet interface to be configured. Regards,
