We have a Windows 2003 based network with security camera software loaded and networked cameras over standard cat5 drops, the Cameras should automatically get a DHCP addresss, but the server is not giving them IP addresses, any ideas why? Is this a 2003/SP1 security setting that is preventing this from occuring?

I dont think so. As long as you have available addreses to lease, DHCP should issue addresses to whatever asks.

I think you should check your camera software setup first and the physical cameras themselves. If that all checks out then go check your policy settings.

Remember - easy stuff first - try a laptop from the cable that runs to the camera
