Hi
Apologies if this sounds like a dumb question but im not a microsoft guy.
Ive got a cisco ASA5540 acting as an IPsec VPN termination point using a win2003 svr as DHCP server so that it can update DNS. The problem ive got is that the bootp request is hitting dhcp sever and its issuing an ip address but the end device hostname is not being entered into DHCP server. I know the device name is being passed to the server as Ive got packet capture showing the host name in option 12 of the packet.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
