DHCP doesn't work on 3640 with IOS 11.3(8) T1 ???????

I wanted to set up my 3640 as a DHCP Server for Dial ISDN users (similar to config described in '? DHCP ' of March 10 2000.)
I only have the live 3600 so had to organise downtime , planned the actions, but when I came to enter 'NO IP DHCP CONFLICT LOGGING' it wouldn't have it , or any other IP DHCP commands !
What version of IOS do I need . I have 11.3(8) T1 installed , is 12.0 the prerequisite for DHCP or am I missing something from commands ???
I have set up DHCP successfully on Cisco 803 Routers before , so I thought I should know the prereqs .
Please help - whats wrong ?????

Yes I need 12.0.n . I'm told I need extra 8m Flash and 16 meg DRAM (current 8meg flash and default(24meg) Dram on 3640)
IS this true or are my 3rd party suppliers pulling a fast one? How do I find independant info on memory required for different Sftware confis ??
