I upgraded mitel 3300 cxi, from software level 4.2 to 6, IP phones displays DHCP Discovery, Using option 43:1. They were not loading. What do I do?

What are you using to issue dhcp? Sounds like a windows server has been configured for DHCP on the phone subnet. Did you change any IP settings on the system?

As per AlphaMann what are you using to issue DHCP?

Also are you using VLANS? Mitel fixed an issue with the way the phones behave after MCD 5.0SP1.

If you are not using VLANS then remove the VLAN ID in the DHCP scope option and see if this solves you issue.

If you used the native VLAN 1, remove it in the DHCP option, this is probably your problem.

After 5.0 the MCD software changed the way it handled VLAN's in the DHCP. If I remember correctly; While in the past nothing was required on the newer software VLAN ID is no required in the DHCP options. Try adding it if it is not there.
