Hi,
is there a utility that would verify every used DHCP lease, ping the IP of the machine, and if it doesn't respond withhin 5 seconds, kill the used DHCP lease so I can reclaim the IP?
We have the problem that a lot of users don't know or don't want to shutdown their workstations correctly, and then usually once per week, they claim they don't have enough DHCP leases available. Shortening the DHCP lease duration is IMO not practicable.
