HELP!!!

We are running Windows 2K DHCP and have about 200 scopes.
If we move a workstation (Win2K Pro) to a different subnet (even after releasing the old address first,) it boots with the old address and won't renew a new one for the new subnet.

HELP PLEASE!!!!

I run into similar all the time... seems like the workstation only wants to listen on his old subnet.

I have always wanted a real solution, but here is my work around:
Hard Code the an IP address putting him on the new subnet, then tell the machine to use dhcp.
I know this sucks... maybe someone else has a better work around.

Thanks, I'll try that.

But, sure would like to know why it is happening!!
