Hello, I just installed Sun OS 5.8 for Intel using the default install options and though other OS's (Win9x, Redhat etc.) using this hardware have had no issue getting an IP, the Sun bootup (using IPv4) does not seem to be able to get a DHCP lease from my local Road Runner connection.
I installed once before choosing custom options with no better results.
Error Received:
Could not connect to DHCP server on network.
Can anyone give me advice on getting DHCP client to work with Sun 5.8?
Thanks for your time! Michael
