DHCP and DNS of old server migrating to new?

I have a Small Business Server that I am going to decommission SBS 2011. I have built the new server using Windows Server 2012 R2. I have promoted the new server to PDC. The old server is now a secondary DC. When I shutdown the old server DHCP and DNS do not work. What do I need to do to break the ties to old server?
