DGT CTYP: natl vs intl

On a digin munipulation block, does anyone know the difference in CTYP between NATL and INTL?

I need to know at a digit level.
Does INTL insert 1 or something before hand? or is there more to it?

I believe it is just how the call is tagged in the DCH messaging. If you set it to INTL I believe when it hits the CO it will be treated as international call and may not pass through.
