Howdy all, this is a tough one.
Ribbon error.
New p-head, mask, tractors.
Alpha is set correctly.
When doing an internal test,it will slide easily and head adjust.
At the first line, it stops,and bunches up ribbon on the right.
Print is perfect, no pins are pulling the ribbon.
The ribbon mech is actuating, but it seems the p-head is stopping the ribbon advance. Or could the drive motor be going bad?
I swapped the left I/O board that controls the ribbon/tractor selector assy. No change.[yinyang]

Addendum; Swapped the left I/O pcb and the ribbon drive assy. Found the 4 wires on the sensor were twisted and shorting out. Can't happen by itself! Now it's just a paper out error on front and rear tractors. Could be, but odd that both go out. Will install new and see.
