Anyone out there? Epson is no help. The guy we have sent them to when I could not readily fix it, sent one back as fixed. It was not! This was a 9000, and figuring how to get into the menu took a moment, but then saw the gap set for 14. changed to auto, and voila!
But this 8500 is a problem child, and there has to be a simpler way to go about it. All voltages check out correct.
Known working parts swapped. Hit the switch, fan turns up, no lights, then off after two seconds. Have not tried the logic yet, but everything else.?????????????
