DFS without one-dfs-root-per-server limitation?

Hi,

We need to be able to create a virtual directory structure that'll enable each of our customers to have a single sharepoint that contains "links" to all the relevant shares and folders on the different servers, so they don't have to map each seperate share to a seperate driveletter, but have ONE mapped driveletter that contain ALL the other shares.

This can be done using DFS except it only allows a single DFS root per server, which means that we have to have a server per customer. It can also be done using IIS, but then all datatransfers use HTTP and are pretty slow compared to a normal filecopy + the client must be able to map a web-share to a driveletter (like Windows XP can).

What we really need is the to be able to the following:
Code:
Customer	Share-point Contents of Share-point
Cust1 \\MyDomain\Cust1 \\server1\Cust1Rapporter, \\server2\Cust1Dokumenter, \\server3\Cust1Temp
Cust2 \\MyDomain\Cust2 \\server1\Cust2Rapporter, \\server2\Cust2Dokumenter, \\server3\Cust2Temp
Cust3 \\MyDomain\Cust3 \\server1\Cust3Rapporter, \\server2\Cust3Dokumenter, \\server3\Cust3Temp
Cust4 \\MyDomain\Cust4 \\server1\Cust4Rapporter, \\server2\Cust4Dokumenter, \\server3\Cust4Temp
(sorry about the lousy display format)

This should enable each customer to map a drive to \\MyDomain\Cust# (could also be \\MyServer\Cust# if the virtual directory info. isn't stored in the AD domain) instead of having to map 3 drives, one for each "normal" share.

So basicly what we're loking for is a DFS product that isn't limited by the one-shareroot-per-server limitation.

Does anyone know of a product that'll meet our needs or a work-around to DFS?

Thanks!
