Is there a way to DFS from a network drive to a san storage? I need a temporary location for a large shared drive until my new server is up and running. I've connected my external san storage to the server using the iSCSI connector. But when I setup the DFS, it will not recognize the storage even though it is in my AD.

thanks

Do not confuse a server function with a storage function. Your server will treat your SAN connected LUN as a local drive. If you are using the same server which is also connected to a network drive, why don't you just robocopy the contents to your SAN connected drive?
