First of all, I maybe way off on this. I have been searching all of technet and the web for a how-to that I can understand, but have come up with trial and error. While it is educational, I need to start being practical. I am trying to setup a somewhat redundant way to store data. I have setup DFS on two Domain controllers. I have added replicas to the root, and any links. I have checked enable automatic replication for them also. When I go to a workstation and open \\domain_name\dfs\link_name and copy anything to it, I cannot find it on both servers. I can open the folders on the servers themselves to find an unmatched group of files/folders. Any ideas?
