Hello
First, I apologize if this is not the right location for this question
I'm am a manager who has access to an IT group to support my file distribution needs. They have set up a global DFS system that is 12 servers replicating several hundred gb of data.
Due to the volume of use and the material being transferred, I'd like to be able to create some metrics on usage - specifically on unique number of users and/or quantity of gb downloaded, perhaps going as far as individual user based on some unique identifier and the specific files they downloaded.
If this possible? Is there another location I should be asking this questions? Every solution we come up with ends up with a single point of entry which kills the concept of maximizing the use of the DFS system. Thank you for reading my question.
