DFS Profile replication

I was wondering if anyone has tried to use DFS to replicate Profile directories in a Metaframe XP SR2 Farm. I cannot use terminal server profiles because we have different Citrix environments connected via weak wan links and I don't want people having to pull down profiles across wan links. I hate to have people have to create 5 different profiles one for each in my farm. I also really don't want any one server being to important in the farm...

Let me know about any solutions you may have in this area.
