Hi there,
I have quite a simple problem,
I have run out of servers to host my AD based DFS Roots. We have over 20 Notes Domino servers which are member servers of the domain. I want to host some root replicas on these but can't until I can come up with some figures on how making a server a DFS Root replica will affect it's performance. I can not find any information on this at all.
None of our DFS Roots have any data in them, just DFS Links. The Root Replica's that I'm thinking or using these servers for have about 800 users accessing them daily. However as DFS load balances by randomly selecting a server from the list of refferals you can probably half this number for each individual replica.
Thanks,
Matt
