I'm running DFS on a W2K server across serveral other servers. The problem is that a client can copy one file to any directory anywhere else on the network, but if they attempt to move a file that already exists in the destination folder it give an access denied error, but if they copy the file over it allows the user to over-write the existing file.
Other machines give a message about the file already being in use, but I know for a fact that the file is not opened anywhere else.
I've checked all the shares and security is set to everyone with full access.
Has anyone ever run into anything remotely like this?
Thanks
