Hello

Does anyone use 2003 DFS to centralise web content on a WLBS balanced set up?

We currently have a few web servers and we change the content on each one, good in that if one screws up it doesn't take out the web site but also seems a bit long winded.

What do you do? Anyone use DFS for this and any drawbacks?

Cheers

you should never use DFS for any frequently changed files. Not to mention, there is replication overhead time involved here. Not a good idea really. It may not even be a supported scenario from MS...can't say as I ever had any customers while I was there that wanted to do this (and DFS was one of my specialities).
