DFM license upgrade problem

HI,

I have bought the LMS 2.5.1 upgrade copy.
After installing as fresh copy i did license registration.
After registration i run dfmlicensevalidate.bat file for license upgradtion by keeping the old dfm 1.1 cd on the cdrom.

It is failing saying validation failed. i was able to validate RME and other product of LMS bundle.

What could be the reason.

Hi,

There was bug for this a while ago, but I thoughtis was solved by now:

CSCsa70833 : dfmValidateUpgrade script fails to validate DFM 1.2 CD-ROM

Try downloading the patch for it from :

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cw2000-dfm

(you need a Cisco.com login)

this bug was in older version. ihave the latest LMS 2.5.1 which covers this bug.

I belive we require DFM 1.2 cd for validation. What i have is DFM 1.1 CD. is this correct ?

Yes, you need the 1.2 CD :
