Greetings,

I am unable to display any statistics regarding the /dev/root volume utilizing the command line options or the FileSystems manager. I've booted into single-user mode and run fsck with and without the -ofull switch. I don't receive any messages that require input running fsck and am able to boot up "normally". I am having printing problems with some Laser printers that are connected to Jet Direct boxes, and my accounting software vendor seems to think these two problems are related.

Any thoughts?

Thank-you in advance for your input.

What exactly do you see when you run the command:
df -v -t

Mine looks like this:
Code:
/ /dev/root 17094656 1900084 15194572 12%
/stand /dev/boot 30720 18630 12090 61%
/u /dev/u 17094558 10523858 6570700 62%
/v /dev/v 17896410 6621472 11274938 37%
/w /dev/w 17896410 8349332 9547078 47%

The only possibility I can think of is if your root filesystem is mounted as read only. In the filesystem manager, when you view by mount status, what is the access mode for your /dev/root filesystem? When you view by filesystem type, what is the type for your /dev/root filesystem?

I had to rebuild the mount table. Thanks for your replies
