Hi,
I have just found in the FAQ, tips on speeding up your Win9x/ME. I found it very useful, particularly, the hwinfo /ui to check your system hardware.

So...this came up in red (ie. a problem).

I'm a little unsure what to do to fix this, can anyone help??

------------------------------------------------------------
The information in this article applies to:

Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition

------------------------------------------------------------
If this article does not describe your hardware-related issue, please see the following Microsoft Web site to view more articles about hardware:

SYMPTOMS
When you use the Microsoft System Information tool (Msinfo32.exe) to view problem devices in your computer, entries for "ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering" may be listed. This may occur even if IRQ steering is working correctly. The entries may look like:

ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering ACPI\*PNP0C0F\00000003 22
ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering ACPI\*PNP0C0F\00000005 22
ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering ACPI\*PNP0C0F\00000006 22
ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering ACPI\*PNP0C0F\00000007 22
ACPI IRQ Holder for PCI IRQ Steering ACPI\*PNP0C0F\00000008 22
These entries represent ACPI Holder for IRQ Steering data structures that did not start (error code 22).

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you change hardware in your computer and the IRQ holder is no longer required. IRQ holders for PCI steering are listed with error code 22 when they are not in use. Although IRQ holders for PCI steering that are not in use are not displayed in Device Manager, the System Information tool displays them.

STATUS
This behavior is by design.
